Many people including myself want too know why the nether is banned here are some reasons.. 1. Nether warts and soul sand would be too easy too get and make the economy bad. 2. As far as my knowledge goes factions can't claim in the nether making it a bad world and causing lag :/ 3. You can build above the nether but that's a secret 4. Wither skulls, these would make the server incredibly unfair as withers can destroy a lot of stuff and make creeper eggs rather worthless Hope this helped
I disabled the nether on Prison (just as I did on Factions) primarily and almost entirely because having multiple worlds makes hiding far too easy. I think PvP servers should be about PvP, not about running around for hours looking for players' bases. I'm aware that people can also hide in The End, but I decided to keep it enabled on Prison so that people could make "Enderman grinders". I put a 1000 block world border on it.
