ON TOPIC I think some advise is to make sure to keep gapples on you, but also have extras in the ender chest. Focus on getting p2 armour and things like tactics. Such as hiding in trees and sniping or hitting, flying up behind the person, hitting again. Allies are always good but be careful who you trust. This is from somebody who just doesn't care about teaming and armour and stuff btw so things may not actually work like this
