Minetime now accepts players using Minecraft versions 1.7.2 - 1.8. Minetime itself is on 1.7.10 and there are no 1.8 features yet. We'll let you guys know when we're preparing for a full 1.8 update. At first glance, very few things broke on any of our servers. If you notice anything, make sure to report it. [UPDATE]: See this post for details. - Collin
As soon as the server came back up I knew you guys were updating so I made sure ranks on creative had their commands.Everyone had their commands & didn't seem like there were any bugs. Also now I'm hoping that we don't the the "Ban Hammer has spoken" message anymore
Update: DisguiseCraft has been temporarily disabled on Skyblock, Survival and Creative as it is causing lots of lag by spamming the console with errors (although it does technically work). This may take up to a week or more to fix. Hunger Games is temporarily unavailable as changes to its code are necessary to prevent it from constantly crashing in 1.8. This should be fixed within 24 hours. The whole network may be a bit laggy until the software we use to link all our servers together updates to fix its CPU usage-related issues. This should be fixed within 24 hours.
If there are any lag issues then it is likely caused by Spigot's connection handler. We are trying to find ways around this as needed. I woke up to push a fix to survival games early this morning.
There was an issue with Lilypad (our proxy that connects servers together) caused by its compress/zlib library being broken when reading small buffers. It was fixed here: https://github.com/LilyPad/GoLilyPad/commit/fc5220f297ab3e548baa0f03e8ec3b3885e4c0fd as well as me pushing small patches to my Survival Games plugin in the mean time.
I went on PvPfest yesterday, one of the least lag gist servers, and there was a TONNE of lag.. Man, I would hate to see creative... Lol
