Kinda @Nathan but, iPhone 7 has an a10 processor whereas iPhone 6 has an a9 processor. In general the 7 has better specs than any other iPhone currently.

Honestly, the difference between an a9 and a10 processor is so little, you probably won't even notice it's faster unless you put two phones right beside each other and compare.

@Vitanni that doesn't necessarily make the iPhone 7 a better value. It's like comparing a GTX 1060 and a GTX 980 Ti and A GTX 1070.
