as for tips, i'd recommend getting a drawing tablet, however if you're stuck with an ipad:
work with layers.
try getting a solid color as opposed to "watercolor" or whatever.
anything specific you'd like to know about?

They're all solid colors, unless I select watercolor. It's a really intense app, honestly. I have tons of different brushes and and pencils, and I have trouble getting used to it.
I guess I would really like to know about how to get the shape of whatever im drawing, and blending colors.

I tried to do a more solid fire, but it didn't quite work out how I wanted it to.

that's awesome! my only suggestion is to add shading. trust me, most pictures look forward 100x better once shading happens

I tried. I'm just the worst at shading, and where to put it. ;-;

well, think about it as a real life example, only cartoon-form if that makes sense. I usually do my shading under the hair, around one edge of the face, under the nose/eyes, etc. If the light is coming from one side, then obviously the other side will have shadows.

Alright! Helped a lot. I will now attempt to edit the monkey.. Fixing the fire, re-shading the hair, and of course the face.

take a darker shade of the face colour and go over the parts you think should be shaded
