Technically, there is nothing that is being stolen, as it is not an idea, per say. Both days were created to annually commemorate when the countries were officially created.
Physically, no, I can not take a joke. A joke is not an object, but rather an idea. If you are referring to my ability to withstand a joke's intentions, then yes, I can indeed take a joke.
