Hey guys! I was just wondering about your opinion on Modified Clients. Are you against Modified Clients/Hacks and those who use them? (Hackers) If you think that hacks are completely ethical and are ok to use, what Modified Client/Clients do you use? So what do you think? Are Hacks Ok? Do you use them often? What hacks do you use? Do you care at all? The results of this post will be kept private for personal reasons. If you would like the stats, just message me and I will send them to you. Of someone has a problem with hacks they can get them their selves, because there are plenty of free ones out there for download like huzuni or weep craft.
I haven't used kinky in a while so I don't know if they updated and added it, but it needs an auto sprint feature.
Huzuni and Iridium are the best clients and I can guarantee that they are the most secure as I have seen the source to both (and contribute to one of them). It's like saying if guns are morally okay, in a way; it's how you use it. You could use a client just for things that save time like speedmine, step, fullbright, autotool, etc., and you aren't really affecting anyone. If you're using it to grief, in a way it could be considered morally wrong, but you have to realize that it's only a game and shouldn't be taken seriously. I like pissing people off on Minecraft because I'm a jerk and find it funny. That's just me, but I know there are people out there who do the exact opposite. Clients are allowed on MineTime, as long as you aren't using it to attack the server itself (ie crash the server, which no public clients can do anyways).
I dont know what is best... I do however use: -Iridium (FREE) -Huzuni -Kronos -Athena -Diffusion -Prometheus
Also, fair reminder that sharing your Iridium login info with your friends is not allowed and will result in your license being revoked.
Well, one thing I am one-sided on is that legit kills are more impressive than non-legit ones. While I am still trying to make it clear that I do not support hacks, and I am not trying to influence not using them, I do think that I would respect a legit player's kills more than a hacker's.
That's Exactly What Hacks, are they do all the Work, for you all you have to do is press a button and maybe move, around... nothing much. As you said it's VERY Boring. (This is my opinion)
