Instead of RNGing items into people inventories, why not have a Vote Party drop party? *remembers RuneScape in 2006* The idea being, whenever we reach our threshold for votes, everyone is invited to join either a separate map (or Hub) for a drop party. You have a countdown and items start raining down in a small area. The rewards themselves wouldn’t be keys, but tokens players could redeem for the gamemode(s) of their choosing. Besides using Vote Keys to trade between game modes, it feels like a waste. I don’t play PvPfest, yet I’m racking up keys there. Vote Tokens wouldn’t be the only rewards. The amount of drops and the value go up with more players. Say we have 20 players in the drop party; shop coupons could drop, special in-game pets that you can’t get anywhere else, trails, special tags, endless cosmetics. The tokens could even be used to unlock said cosmetics This would combat players AFKing (in Skyblock) for vote party rewards since they would have to manually join a different map/lobby/gamemode.
