*DISCLOSURE: This is not a real application for Helper.* In-Game Name: TheFrikinAsian Timezone: Central, -6 Country: United States Spoken Language: English 2FA Enabled: Yes Screen Capturing Abilities: LightShot Why do you think you should become a helper?: Ignoring the fact that the server is in severe need of more Helpers, I have always enjoyed this server, Skyblock specifically, and I have never once wanted to see it fail, or at least fall to the level that it has today. I strongly believe that all community members should work together for a bigger and brighter future while still encouraging a competitive environment. To be a successful Helper, one needs to be one with the community, well-known and liked. While I do not know how well I am liked, I do know that my name apparently is well-known. Although I know that a Helper is basically a Junior Moderator, I believe their main goal of a Helper would be to help. Not to provide resources or build, but to handle minor disputes or to act as a trusted middleman, the smaller things that shouldn't warrant a higher staff member. The main goal of becoming a Helper is not to bask in the pride and glory of becoming a staff member, it is to help. How long can you be active on the server everyday?: I work full-time, a solid 45+ hours a week. I attend college part-time. I usually am on the server from 11pm to 3am after my shifts. How long have you been playing Minetime?: Been on the server since December 2013 Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game): I believe I have one ban under my belt, but that is because CollinPotato was using TAB to fill in names and selected mine. This was in 2014/2015. Do you have any past experience as a moderator/helper?: Starting in 2012, I was Moderator on a now offline server. I did this until 2014. I became Moderator again on the same server after it had gone through a reboot in 2015. I became Admin shortly after until dropping out for a full-time position at my job in 2016. Throughout my time on Minetime, I had built up a reputation to where I was more-or-less a honorary Helper. The position was offered to me by Jess, approved by CollinPotato, back in 2015. I denied the invite as I felt that pursuing upstanding members of the community should not be the standout point for recruiting new staff members.
Look back to about four months ago this became a "Trend" and its annoying for staff to look at. All your doing is making the job harder.
I was encouraged by a staff member to apply. I'm with you all the way, I think the overabundance of applications are pointless and unproductive.
So are you seriously genuinely applying for helper? I’m really confused. If you don’t want helper then why would you apply. So I’ll ask you again, are you seriously applying. If not I’ll have to close this.
