Hello. My name is Spencer but my IGN is ChouBros. I'm a VIP and I was wondering why I can't use sticky pistons and repeaters. I am a redstone fanatic and this upsets me very much. I could do so many great things with my island if they were enabled. Please help. Thanks!
Redstone repeaters are the main component of redstone clocks, which causes lag. Sticky pistons aren't enabled because you need slime balls, which are unobtainable.
Ok, thanks. I need a redstone clock and a sticky piston for my generator XD. On the other hand with slime balls why can't they sell them at the shop? They do for other potion materials.
I think a few people might have slime balls, but slimes do not spawn on minetime. Although I find them annoying, they are useful for making magma cream and sticky pistons. Slime balls were only obtainable when you got them as a voting reward and could then sell them at spawn for money.\
Yes but don't you think they should sell them at spawn? Glowstone is unobtainable but they still sell them at shop.
SerialLoving I do not understand how sticky pistons can be used to greif, and Minecraft has made it so sticky pistons cant break blocks.
I didn't think about that, but they could be used to grief. In a very slow inefficient way, but it's griefing nonetheless.
@ChouBros, sticky pistons could be used to grief by putting them at the edge of somebody's island area and then powering them. They could essentially grief the whole border of somebody's island if they had built it to the very edge of the region.
U can get LEads by fishing and leads needs slime balls.. btw i know many that said they found a secret shop at spawn that sells slime balls...
Yo! I think i know were it is but theres someone that is selling slimeballs for 4.50 Each and i was asking were he did get that from he said it was a secret and it was out of stock but i think the secret shop is under spawn..
I'll look when I get home. If this is true, Collin might've prevented griefing with sticky pistons by making them only placeable in your own island area, similar to how lava and water are only placeable in your own claim on the survival server.
