Oh sorry, that's my fault. I didn't realize the disagree button was a neutral rating.

Ratings abuse only proves one thing, the immaturity of the individual doing so. It is simple enough to report them.
I think it is invaluable to show what members are productive on the forums or possibly just antagonists. Perhaps some of the lesser ratings may best be redefined as Neutral ratings

Some people need things to signify that other people are dumb.

Implying that someone is dumb, is a somewhat negative attitude. I don't think that fits best with Minetime's philosophy of "Family Friendly".
While I agree that there are a number of irrelevant and unnecessary posts, it is not necessarily a good idea to victimize the individual for doing so. As it may provoke ratings abuse. Also it is not necessary to rate every single post.

True... True... But rating someone a bad rating isnt exactly victimizing. A much simplified word would be "correcting".

A bad rating that carries with it a Negative vote against your message votes received is indirectly victimizing a person. I am aware that it is a forum, the votes are just numbers. But to some people it means a lot and can have a rather negative impact on them in the real world. Correct me if I am wrong, but are you not a huge supporter of Anti-Cyber Bullying?

Okay lol. Not a fanboy but its bad to bully. And also, people should know and learn from their mistakes. If someone rates "dumb" on their post maybe they would think more about how not to be "dumb" on their next post. But some people (@ana

You both have good points. If we keep it, we keep out freedom to rate "dumb" posts, but we get abusers, and if we get rid of it, we get rid of abusers, but don't have a quick and easy way to discard an unnecessary post. I think the word should be changed and put in the neutral section. That's all.

But some people (RonaldMcDonald) like to keep being dumb and sprout fights everywhere.

The bad ratings they receive on the forums can hurt their feelings in real life.

I believe some of those antagonists have been banned from the forums.
