For MVP and above add /chest, a personal double chest that doesn't drop on death. As we get good in pvpfest, a puny little enderchest is not merely enough storage to house all our items that we encounter and find helpful. Remember that whitelist/blacklist command that @drtshock mentioned a long time ago? We never got that. /whitelist (or /blacklist) (item) would allow only certain items to go in your inventory. Example: I kill a guy in kit fight on accident while fighting another guy. All that junk armor, leather and stone swords, that are useless to admins fill up our inventory. You guys promised these, at least the whitelist/blacklist, command a while back, and I am still waiting to see these. Thank you!
I think the /chest is a good idea. The blacklist/whitelist would be good, but is a little bit useless. Just drop the items from your inventory.
Yes, but it is a part of the game. I understand if this feature is implemnted. But it would take away one point of the game.
What one point of the game? I would like to know. Plus, drtshock promised he would make a plugin & implement this into the game about a year ago. Is it that hard to make a whitelist? Secondly, you have no clue, I have been killed countless times with amazing items due to me having to throw out items. That is for throwing out stacks of items at a time. Example: your inventory is filled with useless leather armor. You have to throw it out, one by one, whereas if a whitelist for inventory was implemented, you wouldn't pick up a leather hat, but rather pick up the enchanted golden apple, or ended pearls you may need for combat.
Loot scooping is one point of the game. You also need to keep your eyes open when you are collecting items. These are some skills in the game that are essential. But if a plugin is implemented, it takes away the need for that skill. There is no need to disagree with me on this, I was merly giving faster alternatives for dropping items. And just to say, you can drop armour with this method. If you really want to pick up golden apples, simply keep one in your inventory for them to stack. This is the way Mojang made the game. Adding mods or plugins can take away points of the game.
To drop stacks of items out of your inventory press, and CTRL, and then hover your mouse over the item stack you want to get rid of, and press Q, for the people that don't know. Anyways, Collin and the rest of the staff are usually 'busy,' so don't count on it.
Have you guys gotten any information to see if these features will be added? They would be so helpful...
