    Hello,

It has become apparent that these "super lag items" are becoming more and more prevalent everyday in the creative server. In order to relieve some of the confusion and clutter of all the players in need of a reset, I have created this thread.

In the comments below, you are to comment ONLY your IGN (username) as well as the person who gave it to you--assuming you have proof, of course--and also the name of the item/entity that was hacked. All other comments that do not include an IGN, a suspect with proper proof, and the name of the block/entity will be removed from view.

If you have any questions, please contact a staff member personally, as this thread is not the place to do so.

I will be emailing Emily and Collin personally each of your IGNs so as to create a more organised and efficient way of getting this resolved.

    Thank you for your cooperation,
    daelwolf

I have a few Lag Bushes. They don't completely crash my game though.

Lag items are a y blocks/entities that have been hacked to give you an extremely large amount of health, speed, damage, etc. causing your game to lag extremely hard and crash your game.

I have multiple of these items giving me like x100 speed and health etc. Should I dispose of them or will they do no harm?

I do not think they are harmful unless totally oped e.g health x10000 will lag and most likely crash your minecraft therefore I think it is no harm and you should keep it.

As long as they don't crash other players' clients, you should be fine.

Some players have the ability to hack items and give them weird enchantments. I don't really see why you would want one exactly, seeing that they crash the client of whoever obtains one.

I have a pretty beefy computer, I want to know how to obtain one to test them in a survival world via 3rd party programs. Do you know the specified client?

I have some items such as, Setzer's armor which gives you 9999 health and some extra cool effects (was given by WanderingGambler), a green bush that allows you to be extremely fast, a hoe named 'Gandalfs (something i don't know, can't remember), etc. You can reset my player data on creative if you wish. I will probably add proof on who made it tomorrow, some items has a speech saying 'made by (playername)'.

If the items are bothering you then we will reset it. The "made by..." names are not acceptable proof as someone could put anyone's name there in an attempt to frame someone else.

Too Many Items is what creates these items. Due to you being in creative mode, you can hack pretty much any enchantment.

I guess so but hacks are allowed so its kind of difficult to only allow certain hacks without punishment.

Guess your right but banning TMI would help a lot of issues go away because RAM override items and lag items come from them.

A good way to prevent people unintentionally getting these items is to disable people to pick up items. however, then you couldn't get player heads.

Would there be any way to disable players to pick up ONLY items that would crash their game? like have a certain limit on enchantments or something of that sort?
