Can anyone tell me how to edit A-M0d? I mainly want to know hot to edit the GUI and how to add my own modules.
It would take a very long time to successfully copy a-m0d's modules. Depending on what it is.. For example, something like KillAura (which is very advanced) would take a long time. But Criticals looks like it wouldn't take as long. You also need to know java, don't try coding without knowing how to code.
LEARN JAVA Most of us will not teach you how to skid here. Learn the basics of Java, IDEs and working with already made projects. Then go into learning the game code, MCP (ModCoderPack) and just go through some basic things, seeing how it all works. Then get into looking into am0d if you REALLY want to. But by this point, you may as well start to make your own client. Skidding is a good way to learn java (skidding is taking other peoples code) But please just LEARN JAVA, Then posts like this are not necessary.
I know Java, but I'm not advanced enough to make my own client. Since I feel A-M0d is a good client to customize, I'm starting with that. There are already a lot of edited A-M0ds like FM0d, InsaneBarz, GreenMod etc.. So, how hard can adding a few modules to an already made client be?
There is no point "editing" am0d if you do not know how to make a simple client or even how to use MCP. this is NOT advanced stuff, Andrew, who coded am0d, has put some advanced coding into his clients so I would not suggest am0d if you can hardly use java. Really, this is SIMPLE stuff, so go learn java and you will not need to ask how to "add modules to a client" because you will already know. If you know java then you do not need to ask how to "customize" a client.
if you legit want to edit am0d and am0d alone you'll have to learn and understand how bytecode works. and its not easy or fun.
Post your request on hackforums or some **** like that, not here plox ty gg m8 tybby Edit: I just had a stroke
If you know Java and how to make a simple client, you should download a Java decompiler and recode each of am0d's modules. It's not that hard. I was able to completely recode/improve am0d overnight.
It's a bit more complicated than that. Chances are you're going to get hundreds or even thousands of errors taking the decompiled code and throwing it into eclipse. Unless you're just taking a few class files
