Because Collin would have to ban half the Minetime community as many would be hacks. You can get a hack yourself. You can use any hack unless it harms the server or it's players
Players on MineTime are allowed to use modified clients (A.K.A. "Hacks"). There are several possible reasons for this. 1. There aren't enough staff in the world to handle the amount of hacking reports that would be filed. 2. A large number of players enjoy using hacks, so allowing them to do so attracts a larger player base to MineTime. 3. Everyone has access to them and could easily get a modified client if they so desired, so it is a fair and even playing field. 4. Any ability that could actually do harm to the server of is too OP is disabled by plugins. (Such as flying, nuker, god, ect...) 5. Certain server owners and staff members also use hacks.
Yes there is, Look at the Hive for example. They have up to 8k players on a day and they deal with all the reports. If minetime hired more staff, they could make hacking not allowed.
I heard a rumor that Collin actually uses hacks, sometimes even by breaking the "no hacking" rules on servers. When they made Minetime, Collin wanted players to have the freedom to use hacks and not get banned, so he allowed them. Again, it's just what I heard.
Collin doesn't really hack. He used to use nodus but I don't remember him using hacks after that became unpopular unless he was hacking a server, that's fun to do!
