I am applying for a staff position on the Minetime cloud because I have come to love Minetime over the course of three years. It would just fill me with joy to be helping one of my favorite servers and favorite communities. Minetime has become my second home and it means something to me. Introduction I think I should become Helper as I have the experience, knowledge, and maturity required for the position. I have a good grasp of Minetime’s rules and try to uphold those rules whenever able. I've been deeply involved in this community and aspects surrounding the community for a number of years. This has given me priceless experiences that I would not trade for anything. Problem Solver I have learned extremely valuable problem solving skills. All those skills will contribute to my career as staff. Respectful I always attempt to respect all players. I know the correct way to talk to people and treat them how I personally would want to be treated. I always make sure to use language that I would only use talking to my Mother. Conscientiousness I am very conscientious. I will always try and do things to the best of my ability. I am very efficient and fast in the way I complete things. This has given me an edge in regard to the completion of projects. Kindness In general, I try to be a very kind person. I try to always be helpful whenever possible and will always follow through on my promises. I am considerate to those who deserve and I try to relate to people whenever possible. Politeness I try to be a polite person whenever humanly possible. I always try to use the best mannerisms and courtesies possible. This has helped me a great deal in talking to people and creating relationships with those people. This enhances all traits that involve personal relationships. Job Experience I also have had real job experience. I have worked in many restaurants and have come to know the working world if that is applicable in this situation. This has helped me in talking to people and discerning the right action to take in that situation. I know how to deal with problems and fix them in a timely manner because of this experience. Outro I would absolutely love helping out a server that has gotten me through the good and bad times. I love this community and everyone who's a part of it. How long can you be active on the server every day? Summer Break Since summer break is upon us, I am able to spend three to four hours each day on Minetime. I will notify in advance if I am going to be gone a certain day/couple days. I am able to jump on the forums whenever need be. During School For week days I am able to be on one to two hours at a time. For Saturday and Sundays I will be able to be on at least three hours, it will depend though. Again I will notify in advance if I am going to be gone. For the forums it’s the same. How long have you been playing Minetime? I have been a part of the Minetime server cloud for just about three years now and I am proud for it. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) Yes. I have been banned for disrespect on the Minetime forums. I have made some bad decisions before; I mean, who hasn't? The fourteen continuous days of being disallowed on the forums had given me a lot of time to think. I realized that being ‘toxic’ is not ‘cool.’ I realized that I was the one causing the problems on the server, not authority. This caused me to work on maturing, becoming more pleasant, and understand authority. The new respect for authority I had gained has helped me not only online, but also in my life personally. Whilst I wish I had never behaved the way I did, I believe I came out a better online citizen for it. Do you have any past experience as a moderator/helper? Yes. I have owned dozens of server in the past (none that did very well), I have had staff positions ranging from the lowest to the highest. This has also given irreplaceable experience and knowledge of certain plugins that are used in those positions. I have learned all the ins/outs of what it takes to be staff. I would like my vast experience to be really taken into consideration when making your decision.
No support. I feel like you went off topic on the "Why do you think you should become a helper?" feel like you could add more detail. A feel grammar mistakes/tpyos.
Umm, I respect your opinion and all, but can you show me some of the grammar mistakes. I put this through a grammar website before I posted so it should be clean. Also, what else can I add to three paragraphs of ten font writing? All of that stays on topic and says why I should be helper, it all leads to something. Please do not make posts that do not contribute to my application.
I don't feel like he went off topic. If you are talking about him working at a restaurants, that could help deal with certain situation that someone without working experience can solve. It also gives him more of a wider decision making skills.
