I had posted this before the donator ranks had been added to Prison. Now it's easy to get obsidian since there are so many donators.
The fact that you could always just buy enderchests from the black market and brake them, thus getting 8 obsidian, makes obsidian also very easy to obtain. Though this can sometimes be more expensive than auctions since it costs almost $2000 for 1 obsidian this way
Please keep the Obsidian hard to get. ObsidianDestroyer plugin is very annoying and makes lots of players rage quit. Especially if they are not informed about the plugin before taking forever to get enough Obsidian to make a bigger base. Even and, thinking of the bigger picture.. The Freeworld would have to be refreshed a lot more, especially if everyone's bases were getting raided. For those of you who don't know what the ObsidianDestroyer plugin is, it's a plugin that uses TNT to blow up Obsidian in 6-9 explosions, making factions, a bit less fun.
You can get 8 obsidian in the black market for $15,000. Simply buy enderchests and break them. Thus dropping 8 obsidian on breakage.
Cause I'm an experienced player helping out less experienced players. Do you have a problem with that?
