Survival Server Seed

    This is a question that staff may be able to answer...
    What is the seed for the current Survival map? I know it's an odd question, but I'd really like to know.

    I've only used F3 in the past to get my coordinates. Where is the seed info located on the screen? I logged on just now to check F3 to look for it but didn't have any luck.

    Sometimes when a server resets Collin will release a download of the old server for anyone who wants it ;)

    The server seeds are protected...
    You need perms to type /seed ...
    ...
    No, I don't think it's possible to know.

    Minetime's maps are copyrighted anyway so they cannot be used on other servers.

    That is not the point, the guy wants to know the seed of the survival world... maybe he likes it

    Yeah but still its copyrighted you cannot download any of minetimes worlds unless collin puts them up for download.

    Just to clarify... I was looking for the seed info just for the landscape layout. I have no desire to download a map where 95% of the builds are pure crap. :rolleyes:

    What I think @LewisPotato is trying to say is that (like copy-pasting builds on creative), taking a built server spawn map and using it for another server is not allowed (I'm not sure that it's copyrighted though). I think the seed, however, is allowed to be used.
