Recently, I purchased a netherwart off a player for 40k. I placed it onto soulsand and went afk for 20 minutes. When I came back the netherwart was completely gone. I logically thought it was normal because I didn't buy it from the shop for 1 mil, like you're supposed to. So I've mined for the past 3-4 hours today and finally got 1 mil. I put it onto soulsand again and I watched it grow to it's 'second' stage. When it was supposed to grow fully for harvesting, it simply turned into grass. I do not know if it's a troll or not but it took me ages to get the netherwart and I think it's fair to say I'm kinda pissed off. If anyone could help please.
Yeah. There is this thing installed that makes a percentage of warts die. I will find the thread about it and edit it in. Edit: here it is https://www.minetime.com/threads/prison-changes.13383/ They also need light to grow now.
THATS why I don't have a nether wart farm. If I need money, I just take a efficiency V pick, line my whole inventory with diamonds and it takes about 10-15 minutes to get full stacks of diamonds which then make about 2 stacks and 40-50 diamond blocks which then sell for about 320k. Another thing is (if your a good pvper) go pvp someone strong and get prot IV and auction it, each prot IV Unbreaking III piece sells for about 50-80k. That's my Methods of making money.
Nether wart farming is great. Nakes you loads of money but 50% of nether warts die out but u make moe then 2 times ur nether warts back. I have a 40 by 40 nether wart farm and get around 1.5 mil per floor and i have 3 floors.
Warts have about a 65% chance of growing (I think). Make sure to have lots of light for the wart to grow. If you still need some warts contact me

Long story short nether warts used to rack in huge amounts of money. In order to balance the economy nether warts were "nerfed" and now no longer give the incredible benefits they did before, however they still generate income (just not as much).
As a lot of y'all know (I know you know) my computer broke down and it was crappy and it made me even laggier when using a client so I never hacked when I get my new one I will be using metro thanks for the suggestion man.
