People say Minetime is a player friendly community, and staff try to enforce that rule as much as possible. Atop of that Minetime already has a swear word filter implemented, which gives off the impression it is made for players of younger ages. Almost everyone bypasses the swear filter by putting a space, or a dot or any letter of some sort (which isn't a connotation to a swear word) in between the cuss word. With it being that easy to bypass... Why not just remove it? Save everyone the trouble perhaps. What I'm getting at here is people swear. Either you increase the AI in your crappy filter or just remove the whole thing.
The filter is as crappy as the hacks allowed thing The server scarcely does have active staff in-game (almost extinct) Do not get surprised with the server environment.
There are some plugins out there were the owner can manually enter words that will then be filtered. Abbreviations could be added to this list. The downside is that it could take a while to add every word. Players are always going to find a loophole no matter how strong a filter is.
There should just be a plugin made so that if the player does curse, or something either close to it, they should get a automatic mute. Like having the console do it, not manually muting them by a staff, but having console do it.
It is not as easy just to flick a wand and then there's a filter that can't be bypassed... And anyways it seems like you use bad language anyway... So why do you mind?
