I don't think this is intentional, as whenever you relog you lose your levels, even if you are only level 1. Many players as myself are very concerned we lost days, weeks, and months of hard work. I for one lost prestige 3 level 83, others are losing prestige 9/10! If this is not intentional, I would hope we can all be refunded our previous levels...
There has already been many posts about this. The staff know and are probably working very hard to fix this. I'm also sorry to say that your levels will most likely not be refunded.
I was playing with my friends and when he saw this he started cursing like mad and made my ears hurt... I think Volga is right about this (again)
i think i might have a solution to get some(Not all) but some peoples levels back you check the server log and give them back there last prestige/level when they were talking in chat
I think they should just restore the backup from yesterday, I don't want to start again. I have played infection for 5 months and have reached prestige 10 yesterday and now I am gysgt prestige 10 , I was heartbroken to find the next morning I log on I'm a RCT prestige 0. Please collin if you have any decency please try to fix this :3. Also on infection it says collin hasn't been online for 5 days so it was a bug. Surely you can just restore yesterdays backups and we will be fine ? If this isn't fixed I think a lot of people will leave infection because every time you log off and come back in , you loose all your levels and back to RCT. This has made me and all my friends extremely annoyed so please could you restore are prestiges back ?
Actually, I was the first person to post about this, check the times. Why don't they just restore from a recent backup like icecoolpondy said?!?
Because people would lose their progress/levels they have gained since. You can always try to log out and back in right after you lose a level; that sometimes fixes it.
*facepalm* Are you playing on Infection? You must not understand what is going on. Everybody was set to the lowest rank possible. Whenever anybody relogs, they are set back to the lowest rank possible. If I were to go level up to level 20 and relog, I would be back at level 0. So if they went to the latest backup, nobody would lose anything since it keeps resetting!
I did not know this; there must be a problem with the coding of the system. @drtshock is probably already trying to fix this. They should upload an old save but I doubt that Collin would take the time to do it.
I apologize if I sounded rude in the above post lol Wouldn't it only take a matter of minutes to reset to a backup? At least on my private server it only took 30 seconds, I'm sure with custom plugins it'd more confusing.
The score counts on your XP, if it goes down, you will be downranked. The reason is that people are being killed and losing their XP, lowering their rank. I don't think prestige levels are affected by this though...
Check out Infection right now, dying isn't causing anything, but relogging causes you to be reset to prestige 0 RCT. Go try right now to see what I mean
