Hey guys, Recently, I have been noticing something weird. To sum it up; I am losing money in an inexplicable way. Here's what happens: 1. I have a random amount of money, let's say 5K, and in my shop, I have 2 Mob Spawners, and 1 Beacon. Then I log off, to do other stuff. 2. The next thing I notice when I come online, is that my /bal has risen with about $500 max, or sometimes even nothing. And when I then check my mob spawner and beacon shop, I have sold so many, that the amount my /bal rose with, is not enough to correspond to a sale of one of those valuables. 3. Of course, I have a large shop, and a lot of sell shops, where people could've sold me stuff that would explain why my /bal didn't increase so much as I'd expect. But after checking all shops, I find out that I've not been sold a large amount of stuff. After about one or twice of these happenings, I decided to add the value of the things in my shop to my /bal, and check it again when I would come on. So I've done that, and at least twice I found a missing amount of money. I am not sure where it has gone, or whether I may have some weird sell shop on my island that I do not know about. Then after some time, I checked /baltop 2 (where I am on), and noticed that hedgeowl7 and LucyHogdy, who were pretty close to me, had dropped down the list, just like me. I don't know if that has to do with anything related to this, but it was worth mentioning. Then I asked Kurzee, and he said he had been experiencing the same thing, but thought it was only him. So here I am, writing this thread, and hoping someone has an answer to this mystery. Maybe some other people have noticed this too? Or maybe some staff knows about it? Anyways, I'd really like to hear about this from you guys.
i sold a mob spawner to you and i had $856 after i sold it.I logged off and came back on yesturday and i only had $30 left and i didnt buy anything.
Well I better have my 106,977 when I log on. I would suggest filling your sell shops with cobble so that people can not sell you much at one time try that and see what happens. Also as a precaution I would recommend changing your password as someone may be paying themself all your money in small instalments so you don't notice.
I wish I knew what is happening... FREAKY 0_0 This is why I don't do sell shops... I'm going to inspect your shop glesplak.
I'm paranoid now. Maybe change your password? EDIT: I have sold you $100 worth of spawn eggs though when you were online. Also, maybe people are selling you stuff then others are buying it?
I've been having this problem now you mention it. I've sold 9 stacks of iron and didn't have much increase. Nothing had been sold to me either.
I hope it all magically transferred to my account Filling my sell shops would not work, in my opinion, because if I were losing the money via those, I would've found the sold stuff in my shops, which I didn't Changing my password is indeed one thing I've done directly after I posted the thread, thanks for the suggestion
All these people that this is happening to are on Baltop 2. Ms people don't have forums, so this could be happening to others. Maybe there is a hacker. But I am on baltop 2 also but this isn't happening to me, though. All I can say is his is very strange
@TheGlesplak i tried selling you some dirt at /warp shoppy-shop and well, it keeps saying (only happens when your ofline) it says : shop owner doesnt have enough money !??!?!?!?!??!
Yeah this is just a bug/glitch that more people've told me they're experiencing it too. I actually do have enough money, but I need to be online for some reason or another
