Hello, I am Mrspheal and I have been addicted to playing this server, especially Zombie Infection or Deadlyfe. Its a fun game but the amount of hackers on it is extreme and too much. Why hacking is allowed, I do not know! Hacking is a bad thing to do but why is this server influencing it or allowing it? It is like the government just allowed murder. I asked a simple question of "Who likes and agrees with hackers?" I got no replies saying, I do! Instead, I got "Na", "They're unfair" and "Hackers suck at PVP". This is mean, but disturbingly true. I and many others, plead that this server disables hacking or does NOT encourage it. It makes the game unfair, biased, less fun that it can be and the community gets driven into a mean merge of hatred. Besides all this, what is the fun in hacking? You don't show your true self. Hacks have been allowed for a while now, so removing them would possibly cause lots of 'hackers' to leave the server. 'Hacking' in this case is no way near as severe as murder, as in fact 'hacking' only involves using a modified client, absolutely nothing to do with hacking in its other sense. Staff don't encourage people to hack as such, but if people complain they tend to say that getting a modified client is the solution. Anyway, 'hacking' is something that makes Minetime unique.
I know what you are saying but the server is driving many MORE away with the hacking, and i was exaggerating with the murder thing, i just enlarged the kill.
I'm not really sure if more are going away because of hacking or not. I just got used to playing with 'hackers' until I got a modified client myself.
Well, I have to say, I was mad that hacking was allowed when I played legit. I am a decent legit pvper. But then, I started playing PvPFest. There was so many hackers on. I then decided to get a hacked client. If you get a hacked client, you don't have to worry about other hackers.
You ask why hacking is allowed, well I can tell you... Most servers don't allow the use of hacks, yet they still are used. Minetime decided to cut out all of that messy stuff and just allow it. Moderating "hacks" is pretty hard and it very annoying. Player 1 says Player 2 is hacking, doesn't provide proof. Player 1 gets Player 3 to agree that Player 2 is hacking, no proof. Player 1 provides a poor video of Player 2 killing them in PvP, not decent enough proof.
Let's say that Collin where to make hacking bannable... This would indeed ban the mejority of the server's active players. Also, people could've crecodred people with hacks before the new rule would be created and many people would get banned. Collin definitely wouldn't get so many people banned.
If you want to survive on a server that allows hacks, better start hacking. Not all hackers suck at pvp, sometimes (like me) they hack to get to spots to level up easily or just to go against other hackers. Other times, people hack to stop hackers from winning.
In the way you put it, I feel obliged to agree with you, but hacking is allowed here because of the fact that it lets you get higher ranks, which obliges the hackers to get a rank, thus giving the server money. Minetime disables some of the bigger hacks that really change the game, but other than that I can only recommend clicking here to even the game.
Like others have said, hacking is allowed. I don't really agree with hacking, but as @Z_M4TTH3W_Z said, making "no hacking" a rule would make so many people leave the server, as a lot of people on the server hack.
[Admin] EriDoesMineCraft "Hacking" isn't really "Hacking" at all. hacking is highly illegal all over the world so if they were "hacking" they could go to jail and have the Internet rights removed all together. What you call "hacking" is really just a modified client (a bunch of mods that give unfair advantages against other players put together in one single client) witch people call "hacks/hacked clients". So if you have a problem with "hackers" i ask you this "do you use any type of mods at all?" if your answer is yes then you are almost doing the same thing that "hackers" do, all they are doing is modifying the game to suit there liking, just like anyone who uses mods.
Its technically not "Hacking" Its just using a modded client. Minecraft "Hacking" Is just Mods. HACKING its self is using a computer to gain unauthorized access to data in a system.
