I heard what happened. I know people who are scraping accounts/planning to DDoS the server (not saying names). I've seen them do sh*t but I am never involved. This needs be stopped.
Do you think I can just magically stop people from scraping accounts and DDoSing the server? Minetime has very good DDoS protection, and almost never goes down because of DDoS attacks. As for account scraping, there is no way for me to tell if a user is doing that.
I'm pretty sure this guy is one of those attention hogs. Also, I'm pretty sure no one on the server actually ever DDoSed, but many threats have been made.

I DDoS players, only in self defense. People like jacestar5, PlasmaNet, DeniedCode, baconyummyz DDoS people in pvp for their armor. They also happen to say that they are better than other people when they DDoS and kill them.
I doubt that I will get in trouble for doing something in self defense. If you kill someone (In Canada or America) you usually get away with it as long as it's proven to be self defense.
'Self defense' as you say, isn't a reason to DDoS someone... It's still a strict server rule that gets you banned for doing so.
I dont ddos in pvp like half this server does, I ddos ddosers that ddos people for no reason. E.G. Eddie. Eddie goes around threatening people daily, Threatening to hack peoples accounts daily. But Collin never does anything about it because he's scared himself. One of the reasons people a growing to hate this server more and more each day.
That would go against exactly what I've been saying which is don't give out your Skype account. I don't know how much more clear I need to make that.
The "Ddossers" threaten your friends, Which then give up your skype account, It's not always that persons fault. Maybe you need to actually take action Collin and ban these people that are ddosing, And i know for sure that you know they are doing it. You're just scared they'll do it to you, As a normal person would. But seriously Collin, You really need to start doing something, E.G. Hire more staff, Actually accept player reports that have ddos threats in them, Instead of just saying "Oh, It's cropped. Obviously .fakechat." It's not acceptable. I'm sure everyone can agree on what i'm saying. @CollinPotato
@AgentScreem both just admitted to ddosing. Also guys if someone makes a ddos threat in chat just get everyone on to screenshot it. That way someone without a hack client can report it.
