After a while, i have started playing skywars again and noticed the amount of spammers there are in chat. I know there is /ignore but personally i think something should be done. As shown in the image included Mindlessdream was spamming and swearing within the same message. Along with another player.
A temp-ban maybe because they were spamming and swearing, this is not tolerable here because little kids will learn them and one day he'll go around in a grocery store swearing and shouting it like 20 times, those kids are bad role models, they shouldn't be here on minetime.
Do you not realize how many people do this? Collin and the other staff are completely capable of implementing the current mute system to global chat, but perhaps are too busy to do so. The population will continue to abuse this problem until it is fixed. I have seen countless people spam nonchalantly (which also includes a large number of people who have donated). If the admins wish to jump on and ban 100 people or so, good for them, but that isn't a viable option, especially when I have been playing almost daily and have yet to see an admin drop in to check on SkyWars (Hence the staff applications). Here's a few pictures I have already: http://imgur.com/a/V4gp4. TL;DR - People commenting are those users who are attacking ME, as if I'm the only person who does it, and not the major overhead problem that we are all facing. Also, why are you using a hacked client that lets you do some of the following things: NameTags, Xray, Chest ESP, ESP, AntiKnockback, Criticals, Kill Aura, Projectile Prediction, AutoTool, NoFall, Sneak, Sprint. I haven't read the rules lately, so maybe modified clients is allowed, but it certainly shouldn't be.
This can only be punished with a mute. Excuse my language, but this person was spamming intolerably for about 20 minutes! I was driven towards the point of arguing with the person to make him stop. He shouldn't be spamming, but as he did point out, there are a LOT of people that spam on SkyWars, way too many. We can't keep track of all of them, so the best option would be to PM Collin or another Administrator to help fix this problem (such as an auto mute for global chat if possible). Otherwise, use ignore as much as you can, and don't single out people for this because there's nothing that can be done right now. Also, the screenshots did not include that much spam. You left out a lot of messages sent in the conflict. I apologize for anyone who was offended by my language towards the spammer that was globaly broadcasted. Just to let you know, I wasn't trying to spam on purpose. Thanks for reading. -Tac
Also, BU2B2 is one of the biggest spammers on the server. I can't tell you how many times he has spammed.
