OK, so I was trying to make my plot into something cool. So I used worldedit. Unfortunately, after I did the command (//set), I forgot to back away, and I was trapped in the block. I thought I could just do /plotme home, so I tried that. But as soon as I pressed T, my chat box closed! I frowned and pressed escape to get off the server. But when I pressed escape, the menu closed instantly! I tried to break the block in front of me, but it would just replace itself like it would if you would try to destroy blocks on another player's plot. I tried to look around, but that wouldn't work either. I figured it was just a glitch, and I would be out if I re-login So I tried that. I pressed the Windows key and exited MC. Then I went back on, and I was still trapped in that block with nothing to do. If part of the server staff sees this thread, can you please help me? Thanks....
That sounds very strange. I'm not a staff member but I'd like to help Is anyone added to your plot? You could get them to break the block you're stuck in and maybe that would free you? Or maybe it was just laggy. Try logging on later and you might be free. If you're ranked "Enhanced" on the server or higher, you could do /speed 10 and quickly fly out before the block replaces itself? Maybe you could even wait for a particularly laggy moment and try to break the blocks and fly out of the situation then? Good luck Oh yeah, and tag some staff like @drtshock and @Jess so that they can find your thread easier ^_^
Yeah, just make sure that the wooden axe is no longer in your hand, then if it is your plot you will be able to break the blocks.
What he means is if you have the wooden axe in your hand, you won't be able to break any blocks, so make sure you have nothing in your hand when you try to break the blocks. Also if you can talk at some point, I can tpa to you and you could add me to your plot so I can break the blocks for you.
But he closed his Minecraft, so he lost worldedit, meaning that whether he was holding the wooden axe or not, the blocks would still replace themselves when he tried to break them. Forgive me if I'm wrong
OK everyone, IDK what happened, but I tried to break the block in front of me... and it worked! So I am now free, and I can now type. Again, I have no idea how that happened, but I'm guessing the whole thing was just a glitch.
This sounds like a typical world edit lag block glitch. I have encountered this before and experienced it's just lag and you should try flying up and down to get rid of the glitch or so. This sounds most likely as lag and if this ever happens to anyone or you again just wait it out. World edit as I always say is my 2nd most beautiful thing I worship in this world, however it is very seductive I terms of its painful price of causing huge lag around others or yourself. Just wait it out and it should fix itself like it did with you. And also I couldn't tell you were a girl xD well NOW I KNOW -Bill nye the science guy reference xD
