Hey, i was discussing this with moderator Dovashy and i think that it would be a good idea to hold a vote every month or so, to let the people of Minetime Skyblock decide on a new helper. There could be a warp or a forums page with a list of candidates decided by the staff, where Skyblockers could vote for a different, new helper each month. The winner would then be a helper for a month. Just a suggestion.

I don't think we will leave it up to just Skyblock player to decide this. If we were to do this everyone would have a say in it. Staff members have an idea of who the new Helpers are by looking for mature, helpful, and active players.
I don't think so because what if it is just a new player no experience with MT. The new helper wouldn't know anyone in staff.
That's why he said the staff propose the candidates and the players vote for who they think should win.
Almost everyday I see people posting " is anyone i know on?" and almost every day the reply is no. Barely anyone on minetime knows eachother and those who do are a minority. And anyway, it was just a suggestion. And if then new helper was misbehaving, then you could report him and he would be demoted.
Bad idea only because some very popular player with no experience could be chosen, which wouldn't really help the server. Let helpers be decided by staff members, not by the people.
I don't like this idea, because no matter what you do, it will end up making @CollinPotato & the staff look bad. Everyone could just vote for some advanced hacker. Bang! MineTime is screwed. The hacker is now opped & can easily just nuke everything. Then MineTime is finished, the server is hacked, everyone takes their own separate ways & goes to other servers. Then MineTime is finished forever. :"(
I know what I am doing -.- I have played this server for a year... I know a lot of mods & I know a lot of helpers...
