FORWARD: This tutorial/reference involves some concepts you may not be familiar with. Please scroll through this list if you do not know how to... Use WorldEdit First off, to get access to WorldEdit, you need to be on the creative server in MineTime (only works there). Bring up the voting page, fill out the CAPTCHA, provide your username, and within a few seconds, you should be able to do commands such as //Replace. Note that most WorldEdit commands involve typing a double slash (//) before the command. You can also do a triple slash (///), but a quadrouple slash (////) or a single slash (/) (in most cases), will not work! In this guide I will be using // to keep things simple. Also, only a few of the WorldEdit commands are availible, as some of them can grief/cause lag etc. These include basic ones like //Replace or //Set (I do not know the complete list of all the availible ones) which are really all you will need usually (outside or inside of MineTime). This tutorial involves one specific trick in WorldEdit, involving a tag. Spawn In Player Heads With Hacks/WorldEdit As most of you know, hacking is legal in most servers just as long as it doesn't damage the server, spawn things in, or grief. Typical allowed hacks are flys, teleport through mods, Too Many Items mods, etc. So, using whichever method/tool you prefer, you can hack the heads in (it's legal only on creative). You can also (more easily), just use WorldEdit, although hacking is best as a last minute alternative when you have used your worldedit for the day. How To Spawn In Heads (WorldEdit/Hacks) I, personally am not much of a hacker. The closest I've gotten is abusing glitches on a server once to get more diamonds. This is because: A, My computer can't handle clients; B, I don't want to accidentally use an illegal hack and get in trouble. Because of this, have fun with it because I will not be showing tutorials on it! Assuming you have already voted and gotten WorldEdit access (6 hrs per vote, 12 per voting cycle), all you have to do is type this command, variables aside. Select a block (placeholder), and type this string: //Set SkulllayerName Example: //Set Skull:Notch This will turn the block into the head or your choosing. pick it up by pouring water over it, or, less messy, pushing it with a piston causing the item to break and drop (in survival mode, you can do this by destroying it). Just updated the list! I removed some changed skins, added a few more, corrected some typing errors, and tested them in SinglePlayer! - Tac
It is MHF_Chest, and yes it is in the list. Easy to miss among the others though. If you don't know, MHF stands for "Minecraft Head Format" or "Marc Head Format", and is a series of safe accounts that will always remain the same skin (unless textures are updated) representing blocks, items, syntaxes, and mobs. It is always MHF_MobName. Marc actually works for MOJANG and his username is Marc_Irl. There are many unofficial heads in this list that have stayed for a while, but may change in the future. These are good for decoration, size comparison, scale, and map making/RPGP. Note that the MHF Series does operate for mainly just the head, as the full skins may not be completed and in fact there are still many more blocks unfinished. This is produced on an 8x8 scale (Actual blocks are 16x16), so think of a bunch of these together as an 8x8 texture pack. Most of the mobs' heads are 8x8 in size (eg. Blaze, Enderman, and Cave Spider). If not, they are distorted/sized a bit to fit the 8x8 capacity as accurately as possible. Another official series is for Super Craft Bros. servers. I don't mention all the "supercraftbrothers" heads/skins in the series because the ones I put on the list are mobs that MHF/unofficial skins/accounts did not cover. They have slight variations (The squids look different on each, for example), and overall, MHF is better. As far as I can tell, you can't get money on the creative server to pay in headshops, but you can trade things like diamonds for fun, and also trade other rare items/heads for them. If I missed any, feel free to comment below, and I will add it to the list through the Edit button. Thanks for the feedback and hope this helps! PS: I added some YouTubers and VIPs like the Mojang and Mindcrack teams. I may post other popular YouTube groups if you can suggest some in a reply to this thread! Also, if you don't recognize some of the Mindcrack accounts, I included the inactive members and the backup/alternative accounts. - Tac
Whoops! I made a big goof! When I said hacking is legal except for things that spawn in items, etc, I went on to explain how to spawn in heads . I'm pretty sure spawning in heads is legal on creative— correct me if I'm wrong.
i was about to complain because there's already a guide then i clicked on this and was like this is the most useful guide on the fourms
I figured there already was, but I wanted to make a bigger one. I can't tell you how long it took to find all these... let's just say it involved a lot of typing and a lot of coffee...
I tried doing it once, and it worked, but then the second time I did this, it didn't work. Can U tell me why?
