I try to ask these questions in-game and it's like nobody ever answers me. So I'll ask here. Is there and easy way to see how many blocks of protection you've earned for time online?
I don't know much about Survival, but from what I do know I don't think there is anything like a "Block of Protection" awarded. Let alone for being on a lot. Don't quote me on that because I'm not sure. Just trying to give you an answer. I've never heard of this for all the time I've been on here.
You receive a certain amount of claim blocks for every hour or so that you're on the survival server. The rate at which it accumulates I do not know. In order to see how many claim blocks you have in total, just type /kit protect and get the golden shovel in your hand. Once it is in your hand, in the chat there should be a message saying how many claim blocks you have left. If you are in a claim and you want to view the boundaries of it, just get a stick and right click inside the claim.
Now I know we get 100 blocks an hour and I play a lot on minetime, but when you get a rank do you get more than 100 blocks a hour?
I'm not sure, but I know that if you hold a golden shovel it says "You have (number) claim blocks left."
