    I had school canceled today because we currently have 6 inches of snow on the ground. And it's still coming down.

    I got out of school 3 hours early because of the possible chance of "ice and sleet"... Pshh, I never get that.

    I had to go to school today. 20 degrees, rainy, windy, and we still had lax practice. It even started snowing for a minute during practice. I had to leave early because I nearly passed out from the cold. My fingers felt like they were going to fall off. So yeah, school was fun.

    Where do you live???? I live in Atlanta, Georgia, US. 1 inch of snow is all it takes to shut down EVERYTHING.

    Maryland. The school county used to be really bad with weather cancelations, they made us go to school when the road was covered in a thick layer of ice. Many busses slipped. Kids died. It was bad. Now they wimp out and cancel it even if theres half an inch on the ground. No school tomorrow, either, even though the roads are mostly plowed.

    We have less than 3 snowplows in all of Metro Atlanta. You are lucky in a snow-ready city...
