What is a guard and what does it do, I barely play Prisons, and I want to play it some more, like what is jailing, and the sign that says: you will be punished carrying these items, like a sharp ax etc.
Guards are the staff members of prison while we don't have Helpers set up there yet. They make sure players don't have "illegal" items and aren't breaking other rules. They enforce the rules by jailing players.
A guard will confiscate items that aren't allowed in prison, like sharpness axes, tnt, ect. They can also jail people for breaking the rules. As far as I know, Juan is our only guard.
If you're caught by a Guard, (E.g. Juanchogar), holding an illegal prison item in your hand, He will ask you to surrender it or be jailed. Guards do a special command that teleport you to the top of spawn for 10 minutes. After you wait this, you are free to go do what you want again, except if you are CAUGHT AGAIN by Juan, he will Jail you and take the item. ~xFantasyxx
The only guard that I know off at the moment is Juanchogar. It's highly unlikely that player got banned for holding an axe. I believe you are jailed near spawn where you see those cells.
Not the actual jail. I mean what places will you be caught with those items? And how does Juanchogar know how people are holding sharp axes?
Its likely he can do /invsee. I wish I was a guard, I can be on daily checking everything. Yes, juan is the only Guard so far, there may be more coming soon. It's upto @CollinPotato @MinetimeSupport and @Drake Hubbard to select the helpers. My best advice is not to beg.
Okay so here is the story @Starfletcher guards can not do /invsee but only take the item of the player by asking, if they refuse the jail is above the pvp area with all the wood @xBMAN88. Guards only have simple commands like /god can they Cannot force tp to anyone. So if you are seen drinking a potion or carrying an enchanted axe you will be asked if it sharpness and jailed.
