what about just removing the Dumb rating because that is the reason people get angry to each other

 

Or change the word? We need a rating for annoying and/or unnecessary posts.

 

Remove that dislike rating.

 

Perhaps there should be a limit on how many times you can rate players.

Lets just say weekly.
You can only:
Give 20 Positive
Give 25 Neutral
Give 15 Negative.

Therefore players would rate other people carefully to avoid needing to wait a period to receive their rating permission back.

 

I like the limit for negative ratings, however the neutral and positive ratings should not be limited.

 

I dont think it should be removed because "most People" use it to rate builds and stuff

Well, I was abused through the rating system and there was NO justification for it whatsoever. Just saying tacticturtle....

 

I don't understand what you mean. If I rated your posts negative, it was for a reason. Stop complaining.

 

Stop posting laggy GIFs or I will report you for spam. The page lags and freezes my computer every time I see your comments. No one needs to have a huge annoying anti-political backdrop on their signature like that.

 

Since several people seem to be in agreement that there are only certain members abusing the rating system, and a cooldown is out, would it be possible to just block these users from using ratings?

If this isn't possible I would agree with Megan and daelwolf, the negative ratings should stay but become neutral.

 

I like the idea of changing the name of the"Dumb" rating possibly to "Unnecessary" and making it a neutral rating.
