Okay like seriously some of these idea's are really good I really like the 1.7 Map but here's my idea's as a competitive factions player. Kit PvP gives you P5, S6,S6Axe Make /Warp wild and have bases right on the edge of the wild like 1.8 people always loved making spawnclaim pvp areas I loved that idea to.(Something like that would be awesome (with 1.7maybe make the wilderness claims seeable from the pvp jump off point idk) Bring /duel features make it so its a kit not your own gear, maybe add mcmmo? With spawners make them really expensive but really good in the long run (example: IG 500mil per IG 500k per invent or something like that) Make Zombie and Skeleton spawners pointless so we can just use Netherwart farms to get up to IGs or something like that.
I do not like the idea of the sell price 500 mill because you could go mine a whole inv of iron and then be set for a long time lmao, you could buy anything from the shop 10 times with 500 mill xDD but adjusting the prices would make minetime 10x better
The last reset had a great shop, map, and spawn pvp. The Noexitpvp was small, but it was better that way because if it was big they could run away

I think a customization of the old 1.7 map and maybe the new 1.8 map would be cool? You could have mob arenas to the right side of it and extend the shop to the left while adding more stuff. Maybe even make some stuff underground? After all... Every castle has a dungeon
I feel like they should just base it off of the 1.8 map though. I would rather have the 1.8 map just like it was.
Not a repeat just take bits out of it. Or they could just make it the same style. I liked the mob arena thing because that was just really fun. No pvp should be p4 s5 just like it should be. If it was like that, people who gapple pvp wouldnt outhit as easily. I dont think spawners or mcmmo should be implemented. Maybe make the cost of selling netherwart ba little higher, but otherwise i dont think the spawner/farming/mining system should be messed with. The economy was always good. On prison its like baltop 2 has like 60mill and baltop 1 has 110mill.
Here are my suggestions: Remove item frames (like prison). Have /warp wild right & left where people can build. Get rid of spawners and bring back netherwarts. Don't use obsidian breaker. Maybe have the command /wild where you can teleport to a random place in the wild. It would be much easier for building bases. I would like the shop to be a bit bigger. Maybe we can have weekly tournaments or tournaments every 2 weeks. 1v1 - 4v4. Those who win can have special prizes. I will add more to this as I think of some.
The whole point of factions is making it hard for others to raid you through hard work and dedication. I don't see how phasing through blocks makes raiding any fun. With cannons and obby breaker, everyone has a fair chance. Is it possible to reset factions and leave it for say 2 weeks with obby breaker, and if things don't go well you reset it again but without obby breaker?
No one has time to build a huge base and find someone way to raid proof it, also coming on everyday just to check, waste of time.
Yeah, they should bring back the 1.6 / 1.7 map back, it was more chill and back then, as Battah said.. Make the shop bigger from there if people finds the shop too small.
If your gonna reset factions, actually make it like traditional factions because that's the whole point of it. Things to add: Obby breaker (Factions didn't have it for a while, and it would be a good comeback, so raiding for some people could be more fun, and competitive. Note, that you can make it like basic factions without players needing to make huge bases with like 50 plus walls to be safe from being raided) Add cactus farms (if anyone wants it), and spawners, along with nether wart farms. Remove /jump Add p6 and s6 in like exceptional crates or something Make spawners a bit more expensive Make mobs loots sell for less Make TNT really expensive
