Hello! i have an idea that could save kits and also comply with EULA. if i am correct, stated in the EULA says that players cannot pay for an advantage on the server, for that's unfair and ruins the fun. well, here is an idea.

If your able to make another way to receive a rank other than paying, then it could work like that. for example, like on prison, you can pay to rank up from d-miner to c-miner, how about you make a currency system that goes across all servers of minetime where you can vote to get Tokens.

Now Tokens you can get from voting, and if you get a certain amount of tokens, then you can purchase cosmetic features, in game money/items, or even ranks that people usually pay for. now im not saying it will be cheap. for example, say if you vote for 2 months, get roughly 60 tokens (2 sites = 2 tokens a day), you can trade that in for a rank like premium or maybe a particle effect or something.

Overall using voting tokens, it makes it a way for people to be able to access kits without paying any money at all, rather them just saving up tokens. and now that complies with the EULA terms, cause technically everyone can get the advantage, but will have to pay a price, but not real money. simple concept and will allow people to regain the permission for kits.

also, if you can vote on say 2 sites a day, make it so it would take like 2 months to get a rank, for example if you got 2 a day,

    premium: 120 tokens
    enhanced: 250 tokens
VIP: 500 tokens, so on so forth.

it will take people a while to get the ranks, but it is possible. so it would take around 250 days to get vip, and if you can host giveaways and allow people to use in game currency to buy these tokens, then it can go a little quicker. on prison,i would make 1 token around 2.5 mil so rich people cant use all their money and rank up quick.

this is just an idea, but in my opinion, this could very well save kits and allow other non-donators to have the donating experience without them using their moms credit cards.

Thanks for reading and i hope your taking notes!

I may be wrong on this as I'm not a EULA expert, but isn't that giving players an unfair advantage?

Actually no. if players just vote, they get the advantage aswell. everyone can vote, its free, and everyone can get the same things from it. nothing unfair there.

But isn't that the same thing as using money to buy ranks on servers? I've heard multiple people talking about that, then hearing that its against the EULA

Well, your not paying for it, and its not actual currency. if you couldnt use game currency to get stuff, all servers would be banned

The EULA states clearly that you are allowed to make players buy stuff that does affect gameplay through "soft" currency (aka in-game money such as tokens, /bal etc). In addition, we technically could buy kits which are obtainable with "soft" currency for "hard" currency (irl money): so, server owners could still sell non-cosmetic perks for irl money if they allow people to buy them with in-game earned currency aswell.

I can get a rank if I want, I'd just rather not use up my bank account on Minecraft.

I've been waiting for this to happen... But can you make the kits be a little faster to get because, everyone who had kits (like me) will get bored after a while because it takes so long and decide that they don't want to play Minetime

There's a better thing we can do then this. Like I've said over and over the archon has the best system. Physically impossible to obtain levels have donor kits.

If you want my honest opinion, this kind of system makes receiving cosmetic/gameplay upgrades too much of a grind, and not the good kind. In a good grind, strategy and placement can speed up said grind. This system rewards a better play style and skill level. In this kind of system that you suggest the grind is at a fixed rate, causing a bit of a slow and less dynamic feeling grind, and since grinds are already slow, this is a bad idea for motivation. I recommend an in game achievement system where completing certain achievements can gain these "tokens". Things like playtime, kill, and, resource mining milestones could significantly increase the dynamism of the grind.

TLDR: Voting for "tokens" is fine IF it's coupled with an achievement system that also rewards "tokens"
