So recently an idea popped into my mind. With so many players enjoying modified client side game player then why not balance it out? What if there was one client owned and distributed by minetime to it's players to use this hopefully over powered client and only this client on their network. This would solve the issue of players having installation problems and other users of this client knowing they can be just as good if they simply modify their existing settings. Of course best of all having some sort of IRC chat that only works while connected to the minetime.com servers. Although this would not be getting rid of cheats as I once hoped this would solve many problems I had once run into back in my youthful years and hell I may even consider playing this server more than I currently plan to if there was some way to balance client usage to a user level rather than software.
Minetime do not have staff who can create their own hacks. They would have to start employing people and as we don't have drtshock (not saying he knows how to create hacks i'm only guessing) its not like this is possible. Its a nice idea though.
Nick has made a client for minetime, by the name of MtPrime. Its not released it yet though. I also believe that am0d has something to do with minetime, due to the fact that a minetime player created it. Their are quite a few versions of am0d, if you search up am0d, theres links to download the client pretty much on any of the searched pages.
He has his own custom client, called "MTPRIME" he hasn't released it yet, but has given it to a few people.
While you lazily sit waiting for something to happen, the minetime staff have been working hard on bringing the server back up, and as a player of the server who again, is just a player, you have no right to call CypriotMerks lazy, because im sure him and the other staff have been working extremely hard on the server. And the server will be up when CypriotMerks gets home Js.
Yeah my point being if we all were required to use MTprime then there would not be no out of server competition. If this website had a installation video and a client link (free because technically a modded client uses mojangs source code so selling it is illegal) and everyone had easy access to it then why not make it the only exceptionable client not to limit players choice but actually to increase it. If they know everyone has the same client as them they will be more motivated to play around with the settings until they found a perfect place to adjust kill aura for example. This idea would also go along well with a new donation technique. What if every rank in the game was free through /rankup however every year every player could pay a subscription of 10 dollars. This would guerentee every player is contributing to keep the server running and that everyone knows not only can they get the highest rank if they continue playing but they would also know that they have the same advantage the other person has making it clear that you need to "git gud" rather than download a new client and give other younger and naive users a virus.

No just stop please lmao, it's not that hard to install clients anyway, and even if there is an error it's quite easy to fix. I mean most of it is just common sense if you've done it before. just gotta also point out that, there are clients out there that would still be better than this client *cough* black cat. And this idea is kinda stupid, seeing as clients will never be balanced. There will always be a group of people or someone that has a better client
First of all, what do you think I do with my life? I don't sit around waiting for the server to open. Hell, I haven't even played minecraft since December. I have things to do, because I have a life outside of the internet. I don't "lazily sit around" all the time. Do you know me? No. Have you ever even talked to me besides this post? No. So I wouldn't be commenting about what a girl I do not know all does with her time. Second, who the hell are you to tell me I can't call someone a lazy ***. You say "just a player" but does that mean I can't voice my opinions? And I used to be like "omg be patient im sure cypriot will have it up soon!" but my patience has a limit. You can't wave a treat in front of a dog, never let them have it, and then expect them to keep chasing the treat which will never be obtained. Third, you're sure the staff have been working extremely hard? Sure, that would have been an acceptable answer if the server hadn't been gone for, what is it? two months now? Js Shut your sensitive little mouth. I couldn't care less even if the server went up. I was just being sarcastic. I know the server is going up soon, I'm not some ignorant fool. The only reason I stick around here, is because there are a few people which I like. I'm not going to be respectful, I have already come to terms with the fact that I am a *****.
As I have already stated, I'm not going to play on the server even if it manages to go up in my life time. And, I did have patience. But patience doesn't last forever. I was patient.
That was out of the question I was implying that it be ban worthy any other client is used or that unless using the MineTime client the user is kicked or even better chat on the server is disabled forcing players to use MineTime IRC
