Well I'm new @ Factions and basically i need someone to explain it to me and to give me some tips on how to raid and well a tutorial for factions just not for me but for all the other *Noobie* to Factions.
While asking me I think faction is like asking a faction u can make your own faction as well I mean asking to join a faction help them build the base, fight but when u build your faction your something must be higher then something I forgot if not your base can be griefted
@Gineley Welcome to Minetime factions... Prepare to get hooked. My first suggestion is to forget about raiding and focus on the basics if you are new to factions. You can go to /warp factions while in the factions server and get a lot of tips from there. With that being said, has anyone written a Minetime Factions specific tutorial on this Forum?
I consider myself to be a factions expert. Go to /warp help. You can also join VolgaX if your /f power is above 5 (You gain 1 every 5 mins of gameplay and lose 4 upon death). VolgaX is the biggest faction out there and is noob friendly, they can help you get started.
Even though I dislike Volga (Sorry Fallen, love you), VolgaX is actually a really noob-friendly faction, and they helped me get started easily. You most likely would like to join VolgaX first, then you can move on and create your own faction.
If you died alot you should first care about the power issue. Keep your Power stronger than your claimed land otherwise you may cause your faction to loose a land. And yes don't forget to /warp help before creating or joining someone's faction. Good luck!
For starters, I don't think you should start at the PVP place until your sure your ready and prepared, power is the key to Factions because you need more power than your land or you can get raided. Like most have said /warp help is a good start, so good luck!
Allright so my buddy genius helped me on facs a bit my power is 10/10 now and we did a few raid with SMS factions. I was tryina get my own raid and i found a skybase so i called [Mod] Juanchogar to help me as we were previous friends and he was in SMS and my fac (Loner Fac) was ally with SMS. So what happened Juanchogar was with me tryna figure out a way to tnt the base when he /f enemied me and attacked me back to the water down below. He almost killed me and i though we were cool. He kept swimming after me and when my combat tag was off i logged and that was the last time i played. HELP?!?
I recommend bringing ender pearls so you can get away quickly, you could also bring some potions at /warp shop.
You can log back on now, I highly doubt Juan will log on the same time you log on, and be at your exact spot. Also in Factions, there's actually one little tip; NEVER TRUST ANYONE. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Welcome to factions . Raiding is the main thing that you should know about. Lots of people like to TNT other peoples bases. People can also glitch into your base with an enderpearl and kill you if you have a single wall on your base. When making a base I suggest to make the walls 2 layers to prevent ender pearl glitches and to cover it in water because that prevents someone TNT cannoning your base. Claim as many spots around your base as possible because if you claim a huge area it will be extremely difficult for a raider to cannon your base.
Hey @Gineley. I have some great information for you! I consider myself an OP factions player. (Some people may not think that) First, I would get materials to build an OP base. Like, obsidian water ect. Also, you need to create a faction, or join a faction. I'd create one if I were you. Put your faction on the factions forums, and make a good team together. Also, when I was a noob. I always pvped at warp wild, it was harder in /warp pvp because you couldn't really get out, and you got ganged after 5 secconds of being in there. At /warp wild, you can run out (if you make it) and be safe. Much easier. I don't do that, mainly because I play factions a lot, and I have some OP stuff. And, when you get gradually better, you can go to /warp pvp, and own the OP diamond guys! Also, you can make money by nether wart farming, normal farming, and putting a price to join your faction. Oh, and when you are getting raided, and there's people outside of your base. Remember, if it's inside your faction territory. They have 30% less damage, so it makes it easier to kill them. When you create an OP faction, and you have some good pvpers and builders in your faction, you will gradually get better, mainly by ganging on other diamond guys, and getting a lot of OP stuff. such as 5v1ing them, or 2, even 1v1ing them! If you're really good! Good luck @Gineley, I hope you have a WONDERFUL time on factions. If you want to be ally with me, you sure can! Meet you there someday! Have fun! Thanks, iJoell.
