Hey guys... Now, I've been really confused with either getting a new desktop, or laptop. Now, my budget is around $900 AUD max. I don't need portability, although I like to move around the house and play. I do have a school laptop that runs Mine craft and has a client, so I could still go hang out at a friends house and we can play Mine craft if I use my school laptop. If you're Australian, or a different nationality and wouldn't mind helping me, I'd suggest looking through, http://www.dicksmith.com.au/ https://www.jbhifi.com.au/ Or http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/ I'm mainly looking for 8GB of ram, 1TB of hard drive space, a decent processor and a good graphic card. If anyone can help me out looking through those links and posting the link to one the laptops/desktops you find would be great and much appreciated PS: Sorry for my grammar, it's 10:30pm and I feel tired after today xD
Laptop A) there portable B) You get better value Eg a I5 processor laptop is the same price as a pentium processor (which cant even handle hunger games) C) Don't have to plug it in hope you found this helpful <3 Tip: trade one in you'll get around 100$ back
Get a laptop, if you ever need to move it's a lot harder and not safe to move with a PC. Most likely the PC would break so laptop is a good choice. Also, is this for gaming only?
Found a REALLY good gaming laptop http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...iveASIN=B015PYYDMQ&linkCode=as2&tag=bbfweb-20 Specs: CPU: Intel i5-6300HQ 2.3 GHz Quad-Core RAM: 8GB GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5 Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels If you want to check some more laptops look at this: http://www.bbfweb.com/best-gaming-laptops-under-900-dollars/
Okay, thanks for the help. But can you guys look through the links I posted above and then show them to me
I moved a desktop 3k miles on a bus and plane and didn't break. That's not "REALLY" good. That's decent. This one is a beast! http://www.dicksmith.com.au/computers-tablets/acer-g9-591-72lv-nb-dsau-xc0389
It's really good considering the price and a GTX 960M will give you a lot of frames. For only 800$? I'd say that's really good.
And you want something good? You're funny. Only 256 GB Disk Space, regardless of it being SSD, that's not a lot.
i am currently on a laptop for Gaming i originally bought it just for minecraft but have played other games on it fine anyways it is an asus with 8g ram NVIDIA GEFORCE experience intel core i 7 so far it is 1 year old bought in Australia 'as i am from australia' and it works awesome i would honestly recommend it oh and it cost me $941 AUD but you can get a desktop for a higher price
Get a life... oh wait that's just something else you need. (JK, I hope not) Desktops are more expensive, but they're usually faster.
