Rosario + Vampire.... Cmon this is absolutely horrible. I gave up after 1 or 2 episodes. As for SAO, let's face it, Kirito is a Gary Stu here... The perfect character, in other words. There's no point in watching season 2.
Ok, I see your point. You probably dont wanna watch season 2 anyway. It's all Japanese. But think about it: They get trapped in a video game. A video game, an VRMMORPG. Just the video game part should interest people in these forums. The genre is totally different than most animes, so its like a new world of anime. And Kirito, he IS godlike, but he isnt perfect. Blue Eyed Demon, he (Spoiler Alert) almost dies just trying to save a low level army. So, if you dont like it, dont shove it in my face. And yes, Rosario does half suck. The only reason I like it is because its a vampire romance anime (and no, I HATE Twilight.).

I actually watched all of SAO, and because of that, I can confidently say all the potential it had went to waste (just expressing my opinion). Similar animes? Hmm... Log Horizon? There's also newer animes coming out that are similar. But I do agree that the VRMMORPG aspect is unique.
