To be honest, if staff is removing /jump, it's just going to be like prison. There's no point removing it.
If its not removed then try building a base thats big enough for the generated walls to work properly and get the optimum out of the area. Plus making it Anti-jump as well as anti-phase. Good luck on that.
I meant to say to let it as it is now. It's harder to raid without obsidian breaker and that is what makes the game more challenging.
I voted yes thinking it would be a cool addition to the server but after seeing the comments made by older players and more experienced members I quickly changed to a no. I agree that it will make Minetime just another factions server and may make it lose many players. I do not think that is the direction Minetime wants to go at this point.
What if we added a way to obtain bedrock, and made bedrock unbreakable? Obviously bedrock would be quite hard to get and would likely only be used for a small vault, but it would give you the feel of current factions.
@Tyler How hard will it be to break the obsidian (how many hits of tnt)? or have you not worked that out yet? Also does this mean obby will be cheaper?
We haven't even decided whether or not this will be added, so we aren't sure about how many hits it will take. Same goes for the obsidian price.
Okay listen up, for everyone saying "ooohhhhh nooooo, don't make Minetime another boring factions server". WHY DO YOU THINK SO MANY PEOPLE LEFT. People left because minetime was dull, the same and nothing new. Now adding obby breaker, new trade systems and crate keys makes the server more enjoyable. Factions gets boring after having to protect against clients, all about clients. Why can't we add proper factions into this server. All of you who say, no it makes minetime different are wrong, minetime needs changes. And if these don't work out im sure it can be fixed and changed.
I've been reading the comments and there have been some valid points, both for and against the addition of adding this feature to factions. Once the poll is over, we will make the decision of whether to add it or not. However, in my opinion, I think this along with the addition of bedrock would be a great idea. Bedrock could be used for either small vaults / to cover chests to prevent them from being raided. This means that you could still protect all of your protection 4 armour, etc. Also, bases coated in obsidian would be more for extra storage such as potions or weaker armour, etc. Another thing that we would consider is making the price of obsidian cheaper and the price of TNT more expensive, making it harder to actually gather the materials needed to raid someones base. Bedrock Cheaper obsidian More expensive TNT ???? Please leave any more suggestions below and we could consider them. This, is all IF we add this feature to the factions server. We're still not sure if this is going to happen or not, yet.
Could you have Tyler change the player removal to 7 days instead of 15(I believe)? Could you have Tyler buy the server the More TNT's plugin? Could you have Tyler add either PlayerVaults or AlphaChest?
