Hi MT! So I have recently encountered a problem with connecting to the server. After the server "Shut-down" yesterday afternoon (December 21), I found that I have serious issues connecting onto the MineTime server. My computer also often disconnects me while I am "logging into" the server. When I do log into the server, "extreme lag" quickly disconnects me again. This problem has happened a lot and confuses me, because the computer also sometimes says I have full Wi-Fi connection (I do live in the North America Region), and even when I turn the graphics and FPS limit down and such, the computer still lags me out. I haven't had this problem before the shutdown (it is still happening one day after the "shut-down"), and I am almost forced to believe that I have been hacked (this is not happening to me on any other servers). Are there similar issues with other players as of now? Or is this a problem on my part? Please reply, for I might never be able to access the server again unless I find the problem . -PzDstryr_109
It's not just you. While I'm not trying to bash, the lag stops me from playing. First time in a month, took 5 minutes to spawn, then now 2 minutes later i'm still connecting to game. Instead of getting in I get "connection lost" sigh.
Sometimes servers lagg a lot if they have a big amount of players online or if you're around too many people. Many times this is the common case. Can you tell me which server you were logging into? Prison, factions, creative, OP?
The whole server is lagging at spawn. I got into Creative once for 5 min. then disconnected again. And my internet is fine, because if it wasn't, i wouldn't be posting here right now. i wish the problem would go away.
Not this kind of lag, It's the kind where the admin should be checking network activity and resource consumption on the servers end. I once forgot a recursive server active while installing windows server. then wondered where 30 gigs of bandwidth went too over the last couple of hours. lol
i completely agree, before I used to get around 40-45MS & ping, now don't even ask 400MS FTW, its soo lagy, I can't even move everything keeps freezing, theres more then [20] staff members, none of them are willing to fix it "Good Job"
Typically Prison, Creative, Pvpfest... oh wait... they are all the big servers...but that doesn't explain why I can't even log into the server at times... good point though...
There are two of us that play on MInetime in the same house on the internet network and I'm the only one with connection issues and lag today. I simply can not play at all and it's very early in the morning so there can't be many people playing.
For me, the computer is sometimes nice and it lets me play for a bit SOMETIMES (mostly not)... but most of the time... it conks out... don't turn down your video settings, it doesn't do anything.
Yup those are probably the most populated servers on minetime, so yeah probably that is what's going on. But yes I have never experienced a lag so badly in these servers even though they are full so it might be something else. Either a ddos or a bad connection.
This is likely region based. I'm currently on and I'm not getting any lag, other than the usual lag I experience. I believe Tyler already knows, however I will double check. This is an unfair statement about staff, as only 2 of them are able to look into this.
