People come to MineTime to enjoy their games. But lots of people who come to Skywars are disappointed to find that hacks are allowed on this server, and people can roam free flying and winning the game easily. I have died a countless number of times because of a person flying up to my island, killing me easily, and just ruining my good mood. People who use fly hacks may not be aware, but when they carelessly kill someone without the other person having a chance, it puts the victim in a helpless mood. They cannot do anything to escape their death, and lose points for it too. That's when many people tend to say, "Okay, no big deal. I'd say other servers don't allow hacks, so I can just go there". So that is another issue that hurts MineTime's reputation.So many people don't play on this server, simply because hacks are allowed. If hacks were no longer allowed, yes, some people who hack would leave or be banned, but so many more people would join because they can have a fair game now. Its not just fly hacks, its (Specifying Skywars) Anti-knockback. I would love to see people so much happier because they can have a fair game. I have seen at least seven people say "I am done with this server, there are too many hackers ruining my game" then leave, not to be seen on the server again. The main reason I stopped playing for a while was the hacks. Please consider my thread, along with any other thread related to the hacks.
There is no possible way to fly due to NoCheat+. The way people quickly get to your island is by using /shop and buying enderpearls. The anti-knockback is another story. The use of modified clients is permitted on minetime and this won't change, no matter what the circumstances are. You are more than welcome to also get a modified client but if you don't want to, then you'll have to deal with the fact that people do hack.
The only possible way of someone flying is being hit in pvp and being able to temporarily fly for a few seconds at most, then they will instantly glitch back onto the island.
This is because he got hit so could fly for 1 or 2 seconds. If you didn't hit him with the bow, he wouldn't of been able to fly over.
Hacks will always be allowed on Minetime so this thread is basically useless If you don't like people hacking then either get used to it, get one yourself or leave the server the choice is yours to decide. Lol people can't fly also unless they have glide in their client which most do All you have to do is hit yourself with a fishing rod a few times then poof you go flying
Unless Minetime doesn't want to grow, allowing hacks needs to change. I am aware that would change numbers drastically, but think about how many new players we would get! Maybe once Minetime is up and running on its feet again Collin will change his mind.
This may be the case, but servers automatically kick players for flying after they have been for over a certain amount of seconds. There is no way to bypass this.
Also If Hacks Are Not Allowed Anymore MineTime Might Make More Money Because Of The Commands That Come With Ranks.
