So whenever I play Vannila minecraft or weepcraft or Wolfram or huzuni, or even metro, I always get about 60 fps. But whenever I use A-M0D even with optifine I get 20fps. This is Not I server issue Because even when I lag I still have 100 ping and it's usually 90(without lag). If anybody could explain why I'm lagging that would be greatly appreciated.

My guess would be that Am0d is just a very poorly optimized client. Just make sure all your video settings are on their lowest point, as far as I know, that's really the only thing you can do short of upgrading your PC. You may also try turning off any graphics/render mods (like playerESP and that sort of thing, anything where the client adds visuals to your screen), it's possible that doing so may help a little.

Some texture packs can help gain FPS greatly, also as already said turn settings down to there lowest point. Other that I don't know much you can do.

If you're using a windows system in 64 bits, make sure you have the java 64 bits version.

Great video setting for higher FPS:
    Render Distance: 4
    Particles: Off
    Max Framerate: Unlimited
    Clouds: Off
    Graphics: Fast
    Smooth Lighting: Off

    Hope this helps!:)

I have to disagree. Macs are not great gaming computers, but for video and media editing they are great. Personally i get around 60 - 90 fps with my mac and around 800 - 1300 fps with my pc.

Mac my settings are quite low because it runs smoothly so (in case of frame drops you can put off V-sync it has personally caused problems with my mac and frame rate)

For the pc i run either MedHigh or High settings all the time. But due to my network i am not able to use it on the full potential.
