Hey Minetimers, I am currently working on the OP PvP reset, which will go live on the network at or around 4:00pm CST on August 12. I'm making this thread to see if you guys have any suggestions for the reset. My current plan is to keep things basically the same, but I'm open to suggestions. I won't be doing anything drastic (such as getting a new spawn/map), so please don't suggest that. I'm open to any (serious) suggestions other than a new world. Thanks!
Maybe add a protection XI armor we could win from voting. as /kit admin's armor is protection X and unbreaking IV. The current armor we win from vote is Protection X unbreaking III. The /kit admin is "better" than a "rare" armor we win from vote. So I think the armor we win from voting should be protection XI unbreaking IV.
I'm not saying it isn't, but I think you should make kits more "Overpowered". Not saying that the Standard kit should be Protection 10, but it shouldn't be Protection 4 Unbreaking 2. And make Sharpness X axes WAY harder to get. There was an unbelievable amount of them.
At the /warp noobpools they drop potions such as strength, speed and invis. Maybe you could add haste potions?
The noob pools could throw splash potions instead of dropping them, since that would encourage noobs to fight once they get something good. You could also add a weakened splash potion of harming to discourage them from staying too long.
Add something for timeless players. Currently, they get nothing. Maybe make it so that they can fix the armour that they're wearing & possibly a better sword. Also, you could make the delay on /spawnmob shortened down to 15 seconds, instead of 30 and no cooldown on /fireball
So excited for this reset, Here are some of my suggestions. 1. It would be nice to have a kit for strength ( or even all pots ). There is already a kit chemist, but it isn't really useful. This would be a great addition to the upcoming op pvp reset since it takes a lot of time to get strength from noob pools. I also feel like donor ranks should get gapples in their kits as well, This would give some people a decent advantage for being a donor. It could also be quite useful. I also agree with one of the comments above, I think haste potions, and other potions would be another nice way to kill your target. It will give other people more ways to acquire their kill. I can't wait for this reset
I don't really feel the need to buy enchanting tables nor put them in seeing as how p4 itself is bad. Do you?
