I have been an adamant supporter of Minetime because I like the setup and freedom you get in here; however, I have been getting huge lag spikes recently that causes me to not be able to connect to the server. I know there has been several complaints, but I wanted to post this to see if there's any suggestion to what we should do in order to reduce the lag? I have been trying to connect to minetime for the past 12 hours but to no avail. :/ I miss playing on minetime. Again I just want a status update, I'm not here to rage about the lag. If any helpers or staff could take a bit of time off of their busy schedule to reply to this, that would be great.
This is happening to most Minetime players at the moment, the reason of such is because of this "DDoS Protection" error. Sorry, I can't connect either.
When I do manage to get on I get 'disconnected'. Other times I can't even get to the lobby and it says "java.net.connectexception connection reset by peer" or "io.netty.channel.connecttimeoutexception". :/
Then instead of complaining lets cheer collin and his staff on then! Go Minetime you can do this! I will wait for the fix in order to fully enjoy minetime again.
By the looks of it... The 1st one looks like a ddos attack or some kind of wifi connectivity issue. If you live in australia refer to @Tih otherwise it just looks like minetime is being ddosed or the host is being ddosed. (Both seperate things)
I live in taiwan so it's laggier there. Seem like the only time when I can connect to minetime is when australia servers are going well.
