So I was wondering if minetime could have a new type of staff. Called Jr. Helper. This rank would be for those who are ages 11-13 who have would of gotten staff if they qualified. Then once they turned 13 they could qualify for Helper. If someone were a Jr. Helper they must be very helpful, kind, and mature. That would make it more fair for those who do not qualify by age but if this were added you would qualify.
They chose staff at that age because it guarantees maturity. It's not to say that people under the age of 13 are immature, it's just having helpers as young as 11 could cause some problems. Besides, if the age was lowered to 11 you would still have people under the age of 11 wanting to have their own category, too.
I think 34 new members are enough for the time being... Having more would be a nightmare to control and oversee.
Why? I'm saying that there's enough at the moment to sort out Minetime's deficiency of staff. Yes, later on when the server grows, we'll need more. Collin obviously had an age restriction in mind for a reason. I don't get why my status would make me say that, I would love to see more accepted, but I'm just trying to see how easy it would be monitor all those people.
Im not talking about the age restriction lol, Im saying that if u didnt get accepted for the job, you wouldnt reply that minetime has enough staff
I strongly agree with Adam, 34 staff members is quite enough at the moment, and I don't believe that Adam was stating that because he was accepted.
If we were to implement a Junior/Beginner rank for Staff so younger people could apply why would we still enforce age requirements on it? Also, since this is a suggestion it should probably be in the 'Feedback and Suggestions' category.
The whole point would be to give some younger people some leadership and be able to help the community. It would be more like a "trial" helper only for 11-13 year olds.
Taken from somewhere else (hopefully now you'll understand): but basically they have an age limit so that they know (to an extent) that they will be dealing with a relatively mature person. Yes, of course there are many 12 year olds more mature than some 18 year-olds, but another reason I'm assuming is that (no offense) a 16 year old staff member would be taken more seriously than a 10 year old one, even if they have the same amount of maturity. That's my 2 cents
