So I was casually playing Skyblock and I said to myself what if we could use World Edit in Skyblock but then said that was unfair because World Edit is for Creative not Survival, but then said to myself what if when you did the world edit command you had to have the blocks you wanted in your inventory ex. if you wanna make a 50 x 50 cobblestone floor you could get 2500 cobblestone in your inventory and do World Edit and it would remove the cobble from your Inventory. If you simply don't have enough cobblestone in your Inventory it will say "Please include the materials required for this command". Thanks for reading! This is a fine idea, though it may end with lag. Also, next time, put suggestions and ideas in Feedback and Suggestions.
Cool idea, but if you add WorldEdit you won't have that feeling of making a handmade island. And if it's ever coming to skyblock, they should set it as something you buy at the webshop. (Sorry for bad English)
I can strongly say that Minetime won't be implementing WorldEdit into Skyblock. 1) It indeed would ruin the whole point of the game wether it's for donators or not 2) Infinite supply of items 3) It would indeed cause a lot of lag & Skyblock has been very laggy its self lately. I'm certain that there is tons of more reasons why it won't ever be added to Skyblock but I thought I'd let you know mine. (Please move the thread to the Feedback and Suggestions category.
If I may also add, the maximum amount of Cobblestone in a single inventory is 2,304, which is 196 less than the 2,500 Cobblestone number you had provided for usage.
This would definatly speed up the process of building large structures. Although I do like this idea, it defeats the point of skyblock, 'you can ’build' whatever you want'. Building is one of the most lengthy things that you can do. To take it away would take away the value of your build, it was created in 2 seconds.
It will get hacked or glitched through somehow, people will set hundreds of blocks of diamonds, and it will be March 31st all over again.
sounds good and bad, good because its pretty fast and stuff. bad because skyblock would turn into a roleplay place AND the point of the game is make your block big, not in like 5 mins you win, lol.
Instead of posting twice in a row, you can simply combine your messages by using the "Edit" button in the lower-right hand of a post.
