    Hi,
    I'm making my own server however I'm struggling to find a good ranks plugin.
    Which one do you use? It would be great to know. If you don't use a plugin, then what?

    PermissionsEx is what Minetime uses. Its complex, but after some tutorials, it works a genius!

    I used to use both Groupmanager for donation ranks and PermissionsEX for staff ranks.

    Yeah i know i thought it would be less hassle having the donator/staff ranks separate.

    EDIT: I get this issue on my server somehow the water in the portals keeps getting removed i don't know why.

    Well i have alot of donator ranks so i keep the staff/donation ranks separate is that not okay?

    It's okay, but not needed. You can set staff ranks to inherit from player ranks if you wish, and they won't have anything to do with donator ranks. I've never seen any other server do it that way.. pointless. :eek:
