Staff/General Updates and Minecon Sale

i am very happy for the pvpfest reset, i have been playing on the current map for so long + id like to see how the new map turns out?

-I already have a nice new client for pvpfest

 

Minecon needs to come to Detroit!

 

I just thought, how did Nuggets become staff? Didn't he DDoS like 3 people? And the amount he threatened to DDoS... I can't even count that high. Plus the fact that he was the person using Juanchogar's account while Juan wasn't... Isn't that just a bunch of reasons for him not to be staff? Just wondering...

 

He helps Collin though by telling him what servers are down.

Nuggets does not deserve helper at all, seriously. If you think that, sorry @CollinPotato but you're making it even worse by adding him to staff.

I'm going to disagree and ignore you because you are not the same rank as me.

 

Since Minetimes majority age group are 10+ my best bet is 12 years old, maybe 13 because true about age does not define maturity but i think a 12 year old will handle some situations better than a ten year old for obvious reasons.
But at the same time of it was set to 10, they wouldn't know that much about "Profanity".
If you were a parent and your kid was staffed on a minecraft server who's job was to assist players and punish rule breakers.
Lets say the chat, a twn year old shouldn't be allowed to see profanity every day they go on, they punish rule breakers so they will constantly see offensive content on minetime but the same problem goes with 12 year olds too.
If you see where i am coming from i would set the minimum age to 14 but at the same time the majority of players are 10-12.
God its going to be fun for you to set the minumum age, so much factors involved.

I was just joking, learn to laugh once in a while. Also, if you don't like who the staff are or what they do that is only your problem. They're great at preventing spammers, advertising, people cussing etc. They do this to the best of their ability and that is all that they can give. If you have a problem with that then tough, because you complaining isn't going to help the situation. Apply for helper when the applications are open and see if you can make a difference instead.

 

Don't make me laugh, staff preventing cussing? Every time someone posts something about someone cussing, they staff reply saying "The player is not on at the moment, so I cannot mute him." and they never ever end up muting them. For example, Nuggets. He always curses in chat and when someone reports him, staff show favoritism because they don't want their friend to be banned. This happens on every single server, MineTime isn't actually that much better than 99% of the other servers. If staff show favoritism, they should be demoted because they aren't doing their job, moderating and helping a server.

 

Idk. Maybe Minetime is such a healthy server that the helpers don't need to do anything.

I meant if a staff member is on, they TRY THEIR BEST to mute and deal with the situation. Also, nuggets is a helper, so he can't be muted. There is no favouritism shown. If i cuss in chat i still get muted and I'm best friends with nearly all mods + helpers. There is no favouritism at all.
