I strongly believe hacking should be removed from this server. Hacking wasn't originally created to be implemented into gameplay, they were created as cheats to make someone's gameplay worse/ make them loose unfairly. I really like this server and care about it but the hacking just makes it less fun. I don't hack because I believe Minecraft should be played legit and fair. It is what keeps me away from pvp because whenever I go in I just die. With hacking, pvp isn't about skill anymore, it is just about who has the better hacked client. Minetime would be way more fun if everyone was on an equal setting without hacks so pvp can be about skill and strategy, not just whoever has the better hacked client. So Collin, please remove hacks from Minetime. Thanks for reading. -Kurt0001
I disagree. First of all, it's not really as unfair as you claim, anyone with a working internet connection can get a decent client in a minute or two. If you choose to take a stance against it and not get one, good for you, but it doesn't change the fact that you have access to the exact same resources. Secondly, the part bout "hacks taking no skill" is markedly false and spoken like someone that truly doesn't understand the mechanics at play. As anyone who has ever fought someone else (both players with clients) will attest to, it actually takes a lot of focus, fast reflexes and skill to win against them. Finally, it would be truly impossible to simply ban hacks. So many players do it that we'd only have about a third of our player count left if that happened. Plus, even if hacks were "banned" players would still use them, just some would get caught whilst others wouldn't making the game even more unbalanced in favor of players who don't get caught. Plus, there aren't enough trustworthy people in the world to create a staff force large enough to enforce that on this server.
I agree and disagree after a short thought about it. The reason I agree is because non hacking provides more skill needed to win, more skill means more fun. I disagree, well..
First, learn how to spell 'illegal'. Second of all, lol no way. Hacks are fine, they make it interesting, challenge. You don't hack because you probably don't know how. So, stop complaining and shut up to do us all a favor.
Yes, it makes it a bit unfair for non-hacking players but, it's there fault if they don't or they just don't know how. It is very simple ctually just download and copy most. I agree because some players might not, thus giving the upper hand to the hackers. But some do, thus making it fun, interesting a load of plot twists and more!
I have said tim and time again. Killin someone with hacks is possible. I hav done it and many others have. (sorry about spelling, im on my kindle paperwhite) All it needs is bravery, skill, courage.
