I was playing in a game, and someone changed their faction name to the "F" Bomb. There are many factions with bad words in them. In fact, I think it could be close to ten percent of all factions. YogurtMan4, a staff member told him that he had 10 seconds to change it. There are screen shots below for proof. I have had many problems with this staff member too. He is unfair, and an earlier incident was when he banned someone for saying the word,"Pervert". I don't think that he is quite mature enough to be a part of the staff team of one of the biggest Minecraft servers out right now.
I really feel this is a major problem also because the n word is not on the auto-ban word filters and am black and take offence, but since it is not on the ban word list people who use it can go around crime free. If people want to for no apparent reason they can change there faction name to anything that pops into there head, but when you just type it you get muted and since its not in the rules the correct answer to the statement above is they technically are allowed to have any faction name they want, and if that isn't the case or the rules, where can I see a specific rule that says anything about profanity or {bad words} for faction tags. If it is against the rules why is the words that are profanity eliminated from the options when you make a faction name like when you type it in normal chat?
I do not see a screen shot saying "I will ban you if you do not change it" Yogurtman was doing a very good job since profanity is not allowed This player would have been banned anyway if Yogurt had reported this incident Collin banned 654321james for his faction name. I was there. (Disliking all the posts that do not agree with you is very childish)
If profanity in faction names wasn't allowed, there would be a chat mute from the console. (Like there is in the normal chat) But there isn't.
False VolgaDecimo yesterday Collin banned James for spamming his faction name because he as muted not because of profanity, do not alter the truth thank you try again next time.
Yogutman4 it's a plugin it takes a few codes, do you even know how to work a plugin or code at all, its a matter of adding names that will be prohibited. If you actually knew, it isn't hard at all to fix or alter at any time Collin wanted to.
1) Stop arguing with staff 2) Profanity is against the rules. Inappropriate faction names are not tolerated. 3) Yogurt never said anything about ban 4) Just as Yogurt said, Collin will be handling this. 5) Learn the rules bud.
I never said he was banned for profanity. I just said he was banned for his faction name. If your so good at it maybe you should give it a shot I hope Collin realizes how stubborn some people are
